Life as Pilgrimage

In this class we will explore together the metaphor of life as pilgrimage. Life is always calling to us. A pilgrimage is a journey undertaken in response to this call. It asks us to leave the familiar and enter the intimacy of the unknown; to be receptive and changed by each encounter, and ultimately to discover anew what it means to come home.

We will gather for three sessions together - Oct 10, Nov 21, Dec 12, 2026.

All sessions will be from 10 am - 12 pm Central Standard Time (UTC-6)/ Central Daylight Time (UTC-5).

Session 1: The Call to the Path

October 10, 2026

In this session we will explore the very personal call of this moment and what is needed to listen and respond—to leave behind the familiar and turn our heart-minds towards a path of liberation.

Session 2: Meeting the Unknown

November 21, 2026

As Martin Buber says, “All real living is meeting.” As the journey unfolds, we will consider the messy, beautiful and intimate nature of meeting the unknown together.

Session 3: Coming Home

December 12, 2026

And finally, what does it mean to come home, to return? We will explore homecoming not simply as a destination, but as a way of seeing, inhabiting, and belonging to life.
